Study of Faith and Spirituality
At IYA we believe in empowering our community through the study of our Islamic faith and through the spiritual development of our members. This can be achieved through classical means of Islamic scholarship, such as studying Quran Tafseer and the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Sunnah. As well as open Islamic discussions through weekly Halaqas.
The study of our Islamic faith, will also be achieved through more contemporary means, such as lectures, conferences, workshops, faith camps, interactive study/discussion groups and through the study of Quranic Arabic.

We intend to carry out these programmes for various ages from childhood to adulthood, God Willing.

We also intend to aid in the spiritual development of our community members through mentoring, volunteering programmes and through specified schemes relevant to each individual.

In everything we intend to carry out as a organisation, faith, is the fundamental principle which defines our intentions, objectives and overall aim. We intend to carry out all work through this organisation using the examples of faith, community and generosity outlined in the Quran and Sunnah.
